had to wake up super duper early because of usher duty.
we had to report at 1030! D:
it was fun because i could usher with some familiar faces
& i met a really nice friend eunice who did IT with me the entire day! :D
Pst Joakim is really just, awesome.
modern martyrs, it was really amazing! really truly.
people like .. ohmytian.
i can rant on and on endlessly.
they really inspire me.
someone like Manche, who at 15 years old can willingly proclaim her faith in confidence till her death.
i really feel so far from her! haha.
and then familiar people like Martin Luther King.
sometimes i wonder,
dying for something is especially hard to do.
you cant put on a facade, cos well. you're dead.
and i'm sure being persecuted is really painful.
these martyrs, they werent laid to rest peacefully at the age of 100.
they were killed, beaten, assasinated, starved, shot.
all for their faith
i believe its really easy to say, "i'll lay down my life .."
but would you really ?
these people, with faith as small as a mustard seed.
did it practically without hesitation and doubt.
that takes real courage. real assurance.
how many things in this world are you seriously willing to die for.
nothing right! haha.
wow.
i'm seriously awe-struck.
thats the true, tangible love of a God.
a heart for others.
okay enough, haha.
we were all really tired and hungry by debrief.
but it was really great serving together!
had dinner with eunice and then went home to do the stupid binomial tutorial):
